trying to swap a 90 for a 45, is this the EZ Clip female o-ring one with 1-1/16-14 threads for -12 hose?

It matches a 1-1/16-14 UNF female O-ring end with a short pilot, and the hose side is for -12 hose. The body is a 45 degree elbow, so it’s the right style if you’re moving to a 45 while keeping that thread and hose size the same.

what tool do you actually need to close them clips on this fitting? got the hose cut and ready to go but don't want to be messing around trying to pinch them shut with something that ain't right

Closing the clips on this system takes the FT1357 Clip Closing Pliers. You square those pliers up directly on the clip connection points and keep them square all the way through the closing motion. Using the wrong tool risks a bad seal, and these components aren't meant to be reused, so getting it right the first time matters.
