You'll need the FT1357 Clip Closing Pliers specifically for this job. Position them square on the clip connection points and keep them square all the way through closing. You'll also want a guillotine blade or equivalent cutter for squaring up the hose end, and you'll need refrigerant oil compatible with your system to lubricate the nipple before insertion. Skipping that lubrication step makes the nipple a whole lot harder to push in, so don't shortcut it.

Match-up wise, it’s a 45 degree elbow E-Z Clip fitting for -06 hose, with a 5/8-18 female O-ring end and a short pilot. It also calls out seal part 1F40106-06, which is the O-ring seal used with this fitting.

You'll need the FT1357 Clip Closing Pliers to seat the clips properly. Once you've slid both clips over the cage arms and into the channels, position the pliers square on the clip connection points and keep them square all the way through closing. Staying square matters more than people expect. If the pliers go crooked mid-close, you won't get a reliable connection.
