E-Z Clip Series Fitting, 5/8-18 Female O-Ring (Long Pilot), -06 Hose, 90 deg Elbow

For an E-Z Clip assembly on -06 GH134 multi-refrigerant hose, you will need two properly sized clips for the fitting, the cage and nipple assembly, and the FT1357 clip closing pliers. The steps are cut the hose square, slip two clips on, oil the nipple with a generous amount of compatible refrigeration or A/C compressor oil, push the nipple in until the hose is against the shoulder, snap the cage into the groove, slide the clips into the cage channels, then close the clips with the pliers.

Closing the clips requires the FT1357 Clip Closing Pliers, which are a specific Aeroquip tool for this system. Most general shops won't already have them since they're purpose-built for E-Z Clip assemblies. You'll also want a guillotine blade or equivalent square-cut hose cutter. Beyond that, the only other thing you need is a refrigerant oil compatible with your refrigeration or A/C system for lubricating the nipple before insertion. No power tools, no crimper, nothing fancy.
