This fitting is designed for specialized applications needing precise connections, so it should work for continuous use as long as you stay within its rated torque of 44-48 lb/ft.

No crimper needed here. The E-Z Clip system works with a pair of FT1357 Clip Closing Pliers and a guillotine blade or equivalent cutting tool to square off the hose end. You'll also want refrigerant oil compatible with your A/C or refrigeration system to lubricate the nipple before insertion. That's really the full toolkit.
