got a line that needs to only flow one way. is this check valve the kind that just lets it pass one direction and blocks the other?

what size pipe threads does this valve hook up to and how much flow can it pass

Threading this onto a standard 3/4 inch NPT line is all it takes to get connected. You can run up to 20 gallons per minute through the valve and it needs 5 PSI of cracking pressure to open up the flow.
