What size is this test coupling? I'm lookin' for somethin' that ain't too big.

It's a 1/4 size coupling, should fit a pretty wide range of setups without being cumbersome.

Does this thing need any thread sealant or extra fittings to get it hooked up, or does it just go straight in?

No sealant or additional components are needed for installation. The DTP-04FJICS is a 1/4 size test coupling with cap that goes in as-is, no mandrels, no prep work, no extra hardware. Straightforward connection right out of the box.

got a dp6504-04 on the work order. is that the same as the brennan DTP-04FJICS test coupling with cap?

For ordering and cross reference, DP6504-04 is the Brennan Industries supplier part number for the DTP-04FJICS 1/4 test coupling with cap. The same item may also show up under alternate numbers MI-02868867 and MINO-00028X52916.
