Product Questions & Answers

been running hydraulic lines on some pretty heavy equipment and need something that'll hold up at 2000 psi steady, this hose rated for that or is 2000 the burst number?
Question by: Warren G on Feb 28, 2026, 7:04 AM
2000 PSI is the maximum operating pressure, not the burst number. Burst pressure on this hose is rated at 8000 PSI, which gives you a 4:1 safety margin over working pressure. So running it at a steady 2000 PSI falls right at the top of its rated operating range. Worth keeping that in mind when sizing for your application.

got a 1-1/2 inch hydraulic line on a machine, is this the right size hose or am i missing something
Question by: Patty J on Mar 13, 2026, 2:04 PM
For size, this hose has a 1.50 inch inside diameter and about a 2.03 inch outside diameter. If your old hose is a true 1-1/2 inch ID, that matches the ID on this one.

What kinda fluids can I run through this hose? Just regular hydraulic oil, or...?
Question by: Curt C on Mar 6, 2026, 8:16 AM
This hose is designed for hydraulic systems using either petroleum-based or water-based fluids, so yeah, regular hydraulic oil is fine. It's also good for general industrial use.

got a tight spot on a loader, how sharp can i bend this 1.5 inch hose without kinking it
Question by: Clint R on Feb 19, 2026, 9:27 AM
For bend limits, the minimum bend radius on this hose is 10 inches. Staying at or above that radius helps keep it from kinking and also lines up with the hose’s stated bend capability.
