What size is the DIN tube end of this thing?

It's an S30, which corresponds to a M42 x 2.0 thread.

Got a machine running DIN tube fittings on one end and SAE ports on the other, does this adapter bring those two together in a straight shot?

That's what it does. One end is a DIN tube fitting with an M42 X 2.0 thread and an S30 size designation. The other end is a male SAE ORB at 1-5/16 - 12 UN. Both ends are male, the body is straight, and the whole thing is steel construction. If your line and port match those specs, it'll bridge the two connection types without any angled offset.
