trying to tee off a line with M12 x 1.5 DIN tube ends, is this one male on two sides and female on the branch?

On this tee, Side 1 and Side 2 are male DIN tube ends with an M12 x 1.5 callout, and Side 3 is a female DIN tube end with the same M12 x 1.5 callout.

Will this tee work with standard metric hydraulic tubing, or is it specific to some kind of proprietary fitting?

This Adaptall fitting is designed for use with standard DIN tube connections. It has a female DIN tube end on Side 3, and male DIN tube ends on Side 1 and Side 2, all with M12 x 1.5 callouts.
