What kind of applications does this valve work for?

This Danfoss valve is suitable for applications like die casting, machine tools, marine/offshore environments, and turbine control.

Running this on a die casting line and need to know if it'll hold up at high pressure. We're regularly pushing past 3000 psi. Any issues there?

At pressures above 3000 psi, the subplate or manifold has to be steel. The valve body itself is rated up to 5075 psi, so the valve isn't the weak point, but a cast iron or aluminum subplate won't cut it at those pressures. Swap to steel mounting hardware and you're good to run it at the higher end of that range.
