trying to swap out a D08 manual directional valve, is this one the right mount style or am i gonna be drilling new holes

Mounting is NFPA Size D08 (ISO 4401-08-07-0-94) for subplate or manifold mounting, so it fits industry standard D08 mounting surfaces. If you are not using a subplate, the mounting pad needs to be machined flat within 0.0005 in and smooth within 32 microinch to match that D08 pattern.

got a D08 subplate setup already. is this valve the right style to bolt on there, or is it some oddball mount?

Standard D08 mounting is what it’s built around. It conforms to ISO 4401-08-07-0-94 and NFPA T3.5.1 R2-2002 D08, so it’s meant to sit on the common D08 subplate or manifold surfaces.
