Product Questions & Answers

What kinda current draw we lookin at with this thing at, say, 500 PSI? And then crank it up to 2000?
Question by: Neil D on Mar 13, 2026, 12:05 PM
At 500 PSI, it pulls 120A. When you're pushing 2000 PSI, it'll draw 235A.

trying to size a pump, what kind of flow do you actually get out of this unit at working pressure?
Question by: Harold F on Nov 22, 2025, 4:46 PM
At 500 PSI it’s rated 2.20 GPM, and at 2000 PSI it’s rated 1.30 GPM, so you’ll see the flow drop as pressure goes up.

what's the flow rate on this thing drop to once you get up around 2000 psi? trying to figure out if it'll keep up with my setup
Question by: Norm M on Jan 1, 2026, 1:00 PM
At 2000 PSI you're looking at 1.3 GPM. Down at 500 PSI it moves 2.2 GPM. So yes, there's a noticeable drop as pressure climbs, which is pretty standard for this type of unit. If your application is running closer to that higher pressure range most of the time, plan around the 1.3 GPM figure to be safe.

got a 12v setup already, is this unit the one-terminal motor style or do i need to rewire stuff
Question by: Rex C on Jan 17, 2026, 5:43 PM
Comes with a 12V DC, 1 terminal, standard duty motor, and the motor start switch is case grounded internally. That means it is set up for a one terminal configuration with the ground handled through the case.
