trying to tie two banjo fittings into one port, is that what this bolt is meant for?

Built for a double banjo setup, it lets two banjo fittings share a single port so you can run two fluid lines from one connection point without adding extra port adapters.

Got two hydraulic lines comin' into one port on a tight assembly -- would this double banjo bolt handle that without needin' any kind of port adapter in between?

Two banjo fittings can share a single port with this bolt, which is exactly the situation it was built for. Instead of adding an extra adapter to split the lines, both fittings stack onto the one bolt and connect at the same point. That keeps things compact and cuts down on the number of additional components you'd otherwise need in a tight routing situation.

What size is this bolt? Gotta make sure it fits my setup.

This Adaptall bolt is M12 x 1.5 thread sizing, so it'll work with most metric hydraulic components and equipment.
