This valve block don't have a check valve or switch connector built in, is that just how this model comes, or is something missing from the order?

That's how the CP2003B0AB180 is built. Hydro/Power made it without a check valve or switch connector by design, so there's nothing missing from your order. If your setup requires those components, they'd need to be sourced and integrated separately.
