got a cover end on ring size 06, is this the right screw or am i off track

For ring sizes 06 and 07, this part is the cover end screw used for bolting on the cover end.

these are for ring sizes 06 and 07 only, right? just want to make sure before i order a set

Correct. Four screws come in the set, and they're sized specifically for cover end applications on ring sizes 06 and 07. Using them outside that range isn't something the hardware is rated for, so matching the ring size before ordering is the right call.
