Will this brass nipple hold up if I'm using it for hooking up some mold coolant lines?

Brass provides good corrosion resistance for fluid handling, so it should be a reliable choice for coolant lines. Just be sure the 1/4 MNPTF thread form is compatible with your female fittings.
