what keeps the cable from wearing out at the rod and sleeve connection over time?
Question by: Shawn F on Jun 9, 2025, 7:31 AM
Corrosion resistant materials are used throughout, including 300 series stainless steel rods and sleeves. On top of that, an exclusive polymer rod and sleeve bearing sits between the rod and sleeve so there's no metal to metal contact. That bearing also keeps the rod aligned with the seal, which goes a long way toward extending cable life and keeping contaminants out.

got a spot where the cable sees some heat and cold. what temps will the liner handle?
Question by: Curt T on Sep 29, 2025, 9:13 PM
Temperature range is one of the clear limits on this style of cable. The polymer liner is rated from -65°F up to 225°F, and it comes factory lubricated so it is meant to run without added service lubrication.
