what keeps moisture and junk from gettin into the cable over time, especially runnin it in rougher conditions?
Question by: Keith T on Feb 27, 2026, 9:36 PM
Custom compounded seals are built into the cable specifically to block out moisture and contaminants. On top of that, the polymer rod and sleeve bearing system keeps metal parts from touching each other directly, which goes a long way toward preventing wear that could open up gaps for debris to get in. The polymer liner also runs rated from negative 65 degrees F all the way up to 225 degrees F, so temperature swings alone won't compromise the seal integrity.

Wondering if this clamp'll hold up in a real dusty environment?

Custom compounded seals are used to keep moisture and contaminants out, so the cable should last longer even in dusty conditions.
