got a cable setup that sees a lot of grime and wet weather. what keeps this PTO knob cable from getting crud down inside it?

To help keep moisture and contaminants out, it uses durable custom compounded seals, plus an exclusive polymer rod and sleeve bearing that prevents metal to metal contact and improves sealing.

what kind of temp range does the liner hold up to on this cable? trying to figure out if it'll handle our setup without breaking down
Question by: Lynn R on Dec 11, 2025, 9:04 AM
Polymer liners on this cable are rated from -65°F up to 225°F. Factory lubrication comes applied at the time of manufacturing, so there's no need to grease or service the liner after installation. That range covers most industrial environments pretty comfortably, whether you're dealing with cold storage conditions or equipment that runs hot during heavy use.
