what keeps moisture from getting inside the cable over time, asking cause we run these in some pretty wet conditions

Custom compounded seals are built into the cable specifically to block moisture and contaminants from working their way inside. On top of that, the polymer rod and sleeve bearing helps align the rod with the seal properly, which keeps the sealing tight over the long haul. The heavy-duty polymer jacket adds another layer of protection on the outside. For wet or dirty environments, that combination holds up well.
