got a cable setup that sees mud and washdowns, is that terminal eye setup sealed up good or am i gonna be fighting water in the cable?
Question by: Rhonda J on May 1, 2025, 7:34 PM
For wet and dirty environments, the cable construction uses custom compounded seals and polymer liners to keep moisture and contaminants from getting into the cable. The liner material is rated from -65°F to 225°F, and the rod and sleeve bearing is polymer so it avoids metal-to-metal contact while helping the seal stay aligned.

what keeps moisture from getting into the cable over time, asking cause we run equipment outside year round
Question by: Shane H on Jul 13, 2025, 3:11 PM
Custom compounded seals sit at the entry points to block moisture and contaminants from working their way inside. The polymer liners add another layer of protection and are rated from -65 degrees F up to 225 degrees F, so temperature swings between seasons are not a concern. On top of that, every cable leaves the factory already lubricated, so there is no need to grease it down or service it after installation.

Will this eyelet work with different series of cables besides the 3, 4, and 6?
Question by: Danny M on Nov 16, 2025, 12:14 PM
These terminal eyes are designed for use with 3, 4, and 6 series cables, featuring a high-performance coated core. Using them with other cable series might affect performance and longevity.
