what kind of temp range can these polymer liners actually handle out in the field?

Rated from -65°F up to 225°F, the polymer liners hold up across a pretty wide spread of conditions. Whether you're running equipment through a cold winter startup or pushing it hard in summer heat, the liners are built to stay consistent without needing any additional lubrication after installation. Factory lube is already applied at the time of manufacture.

got a control cable that sees some nasty weather and road spray. what keeps water and grit from getting down in it?

For keeping contamination out, it uses durable custom-compounded seals that block moisture and debris from entering the cable, and the rod and sleeve are kept aligned with an exclusive polymer bearing so the seal can do its job longer.
