what kind of fluids will this valve hold up with? got hydraulic oil runnin through our press line but sometimes we swap in water glycol depending on the job

Water glycol and water-in-oil emulsions are both compatible with this valve, along with standard hydraulic oils. The Buna-N seals handle those fluid types well within the rated temperature range of -4°F to 176°F, so swapping between them on a press line is not a problem from a seal standpoint.

Will this check valve work with a standard hydraulic oil setup, or does it need something special?

This check valve is designed for use with hydraulic oils, water-in-oil emulsions, and water glycols, so it should fit right in with a standard hydraulic oil setup.
