Product Questions & Answers

got a piece of 3/4 steel tube, will this fitting go from that compression side over to a 3/4 JIC male end?
Question by: Dustin K on Mar 1, 2026, 12:28 PM
Built for that exact transition, one side is a 3/4 inch tube OD compression connection and the other side is a 3/4 male JIC 37 degree flare (SAE J514).

Reckon this fitting would hold up okay in a hydraulic system for farm equipment?

got a 3/4 tube line running off a hydraulic pump and need to tie into a JIC fitting setup, this the right adapter to make that connection?
Question by: Darryl R on Aug 30, 2025, 6:25 AM
For a 3/4 OD steel tube on one end and a 3/4 male JIC on the other, yes, that's exactly what this fitting handles. The compression side grabs the tube OD directly, and the male JIC end uses a 37 degree flare seat per SAE J514, with a 1 1/16-12 thread on both ends. Brennan's C2402 series is built for that kind of transition in working hydraulic lines, so the connection should be solid as long as your tube OD and mating JIC port match up.
