That pressure range covers the full operating window for this seal, from zero up to 5,000 PSI. It's not listed as a short-burst peak figure. The 40% bronze filled PTFE construction handles pressure loading well, and the rubber energizer keeps things seated under varying load conditions. Just keep in mind the piston diameter spec of 3.499 inches assumes no wear rings are in place, so factor that in when you're setting up your bore fit.

What's the temperature range this seal can handle?

This seal is rated to handle temperatures from -40°F all the way up to 220°F.

got a cylinder with a 3.50 bore, is this seal the right size for that or am i gonna be fightin it?
