flow rating on this thing is 26 SCFM -- is that enough to keep up on a mid-size hydraulic reservoir without starving it for air during a fast cycle?

At 26 SCFM, this breather handles a solid volume of airflow and holds up well on mid-size reservoirs running normal duty cycles. The 40 micron filtration keeps contaminants out while still letting air move freely enough to prevent vacuum buildup during fluid drawdown. For fast cycling applications where the pump is pulling fluid hard and quick, the flow capacity is generally sufficient to avoid pressure differential issues on reservoirs in that class.
