Reckon this'll screw right into a standard 3/4 inch NPT port? Just wanna make sure before I order a bunch.

Yes, this brass fitting has a 3/4-14 Male NPT end, so it should thread into any standard female NPT port of that size. The thread sealant is listed as 0, so you will need to provide your own sealant.

got a -12 hose and need a straight male pipe thread end, is this the one with 3/4-14 on it?

fitting says no thread sealant needed -- is that right for an NPT connection? thought you always had to tape those threads

NPTF threads are cut to a tighter tolerance than standard NPT, and when properly mated they form a mechanical seal on their own. The "F" in NPTF stands for fuel and oil, and that tighter thread form is what lets this fitting seal without tape or compound. Standard NPT threads rely on sealant to fill the gaps, but NPTF threads deform slightly as they're tightened and seal metal to metal. So yes, skip the tape on this one.
