this sleeve is for the 2807-12 and FC807-12 hose, but is it specific to those two or will it work on other hose lines in that size range?

Fitment here is intentional and specific. The 900568-12B sleeve is listed for use with the 2807-12 and FC807-12 hose types only. Pairing it with other hose lines, even ones that appear to be the same size, isn't something the product data supports. Staying within those two designated hoses keeps the crimp connection reliable and within spec.

Will this sleeve work with a regular 2807-12 hose? Just want to make sure before I order.

This sleeve is specifically designed for use with the 2807-12 and FC807-12 hoses, according to the product info. Using it with a different hose type might not give you a proper crimp.
