Product Questions & Answers

Will this fitting hold up okay for transferring fluids at low pressure?
Question by: Diane M on Apr 28, 2025, 7:01 PM
Machined from free cutting brass rod CDA 360 alloy, this fitting is constructed for low pressure fluid transfer, suction, and discharge applications. Keep in mind that the working pressure will depend on the hose, clamps, and how it's all installed.

got a 1/4 inch hose and need to turn the line 90 degrees, is this the right barb and thread combo?
Question by: Billy F on Jan 27, 2026, 1:47 PM
For a 1/4 inch hose ID, the hose end on this fitting is sized for 0.25 inch ID, and the threaded end is 1/4-18 male NPT. The 90 degree elbow body is meant to make that turn without kinking the hose at the connection.

what all is this fitting made out of, and would it hold up running fluids through it regular like?
Question by: Roger A on May 12, 2025, 8:39 AM
Machined from free cutting brass rod using CDA 360 alloy, it's built for repeated use in fluid transfer applications including both suction and discharge. Brass of that grade handles the wear from routine fluid movement pretty well, and the short shank design keeps the connection solid when paired with the right hose and clamps.
