The male NPT thread is 1-11/2, which is a standard pipe thread size you'd find on a lot of common fittings and valves used in fluid transfer setups. Pairs up with the 1-inch hose ID barb end on the other side.

trying to replace a barb fitting i busted, is this one actually for 1 inch hose and a 1 inch npt male thread?

It’s a straight short shank brass hose barb for 1.00 inch hose ID with a 1-11-1/2 male NPT thread on the other end.
