Got a 1/4 inch tube I need to join straight through, no threads involved. This the right part for that?

That's what this fitting handles. It's a union style, meaning it connects two tube ends together in a straight line without any threaded pipe connections in the mix. The tube OD needs to be 0.25 inches for it to seat and seal properly. Push it in and you're joined up.

For joining two tube ends in a straight run, this union is made for 0.25 inch tube outside diameter and is a push tube style fitting.
