got 1/2 inch air brake tubing already on the truck, will this fitting thread into a 1/4-18 npt port?

Fits 0.50 inch tube OD on the push to connect side and has 1/4-18 male NPT threads on the other side, so it’s meant to go into a 1/4-18 NPT female port.
