Product Questions & Answers

got a setup that gets pretty hot around the compressor lines. what kind of temps can these handle before the seals go bad
Question by: Phil G on Aug 19, 2025, 4:45 PM
EP O-rings and CA360 brass construction allow the fitting to operate safely in temperatures ranging from -40 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The working pressure limit maxes out at 150 psi, and it also supports vacuum applications.

Got some 1/4 inch air brake tubing here, will this fitting go right onto it and what thread is on the other end?
Question by: Merle H on Jul 11, 2025, 4:53 PM
It takes 0.25 inch tube OD on the push to connect side, and the male pipe thread is 1/8-27 NPT on the other end in a straight configuration.

fitting says it goes up to 150 psi, that enough for a standard air brake line on a heavy truck?
Question by: Travis O on Aug 26, 2025, 7:53 AM
For air brake systems running at typical operating pressures, 150 psi is right in the range you'd expect this fitting to handle. It also covers vacuum on the low end, so the full spectrum from vacuum up to 150 psi is what you're working with. It meets D.O.T. FMVSS 571.106 and SAE J1131 standards, which are the certifications specifically required for air brake applications, so it's built to those system demands.

trying to hook up 1/4 inch air brake tubing to a 1/8 npt port. is this the right straight fitting?
Question by: Melvin S on Mar 11, 2026, 6:06 AM
You’re looking at a push to connect end sized for 0.25 inch tube OD, and the other end is 1/8-27 male NPT in a straight configuration, so it matches that tube-to-port combo.
