got a job where i need a short brass nipple. is this one 2 inches long and 1-1/2 male npt on it?

For fit and size, it is a 2.00 inch long brass pipe nipple with 1-1/2-11-1/2 male NPT threads.

does this come with 1-1/2 inch NPT threads on both ends or just the one?

Only one end carries the thread spec on this one. It's a 1-1/2-11-1/2 Male NPT fitting, so both ends are the same male thread, and the overall length runs 2.00 inches. If you're connecting two female-threaded ports, this nipple drops right in between them.
