Hey, would this here bushing work to join a 1-1/4 inch pipe down to a 1/2 inch?

The 1-1/4 inch is the male end that threads into your larger female port, and the 1/2 inch is the female end that accepts a smaller fitting or pipe. So if you're stepping down from a 1-1/4 inch port to run 1/2 inch pipe, this is the piece you need in between.
