trying to step a 1/2 pipe port down to 3/8, is this the right bushing?

For reducing a 1/2-14 male NPTF connection down to a 3/8-18 female NPTF port, this adapter matches those thread sizes: 0.5 inch male NPTF on one end and 0.375 inch female NPTF on the other.

Got a 1/2 inch NPT port on a hydraulic manifold but need to hook up 3/8 inch line, this bushing gonna work for that?
