got a 1/2 NPT port but need to hook up a 1/4 NPT line, is this the right bushing?

For stepping a port down, it’s a 1/2-14 NPTF male on one side and a 1/4-18 NPTF female on the other, so it’s meant to adapt a 1/2 NPTF female port over to accept a 1/4 NPTF male fitting.

Got a 1/2 inch port on my hydraulic manifold that I need to step down to a 1/4 inch line. This bushing the right call for that?

For stepping down from a 1/2-14 NPT port to a 1/4-18 NPT line, this is exactly what you need. The male end threads into your 1/2-14 port and the female end accepts your 1/4-18 fitting. Brass construction holds up well in hydraulic service, and no thread sealant is required on assembly, which cuts down on prep time.
