Got a piece of equipment with a female BSPT port and everything else on the line runs NPT fittings. this adapter going to bridge that gap straight across, or is there some kind of reducer involved?
Question by: Dustin B on Aug 3, 2025, 6:27 PM
Straight across is exactly what it does. One end is a 3/4 inch male NPT, threaded to the 3/4-14 NPTF spec, and the other end is a 3/4 inch female BSPT with the R 3/4-14 callout. Both sides are the same nominal size, so you're not stepping up or down anywhere. If your line components and your BSPT port are both at 3/4 inch, this brass fitting connects them without any additional hardware in between.

got a pump with 3/4 npt on it and the hose end is bspt. is this the little adapter i need?
Question by: Tommy C on Jan 14, 2026, 1:35 PM
For connecting mismatched thread types, this fitting is made to adapt a 3/4 inch male NPT end to a 3/4 inch female BSPT end. The callouts are 3/4 - 14 NPTF on the male side and R 3/4 - 14 on the female side.
