what all systems is this brass elbow adapter actually rated for? trying to figure out if it'll work for both my hydraulic lines and a natural gas setup on the same job

Covered applications include LP and natural gas, instrumentation, refrigeration, power steering, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, so yes, both of those uses fall within scope. The 1/4-18 NPT end connects on one side and the 3/4-16 SAE 45-degree flare connects on the other, with the 90-degree elbow giving you directional flexibility when space is tight. Just keep in mind this one ships without thread sealant, so you'll want to account for that before installation.
