Does this adapter need any thread sealant on the NPT end, or do the threads seal up on their own?

The male NPTF end on this adapter is engineered to make a pressure-tight connection without additional sealants. The thread form itself creates the seal as it tightens, so you won't need to reach for the tape or paste on that side. The SAE 45-degree flare end seals on the flare seat, which is also a metal-to-metal connection that doesn't rely on sealant to hold.

Will this fitting work to hook up a fuel pressure gauge to my fuel line?
