Got a line running 1/2 NPT and need to turn it 90 degrees into a 7/8-14 SAE 45 flare fitting. This the right piece for that?

That's exactly what this adapter is built for. One end is 1/2-14 Male NPT and the other is 7/8-14 Male SAE 45 degree flare, with the whole thing angled at 90 degrees. So yeah, if you're trying to make that transition and change direction at the same time, this does both in one piece. It's made by Eaton Aeroquip, catalog number C1HQ29.
