This brass adapter is engineered to support fuel lines, along with hydraulic brake, power steering, and transmission cooler lines. It's also rated for LP and natural gas in special order scenarios.

trying to hook a 3/8 tube inverted flare line into a 1/4-18 npt port, is this the right elbow for that?
Question by: Freddie K on Nov 30, 2025, 1:43 PM
For that kind of hookup, it matches up as a 90 degree elbow with a 1/4-18 male NPTF on one end and a 0.38 inch female 42 degree inverted flare on the other, sized for 0.375 inch tube outer diameter.

fitting's rated for fuel lines too, or just hydraulic stuff?
Question by: Daryl W on Nov 29, 2025, 6:33 AM
Fuel lines are actually one of the primary applications for this adapter. It handles hydraulic brake, power steering, transmission cooler lines, and fuel lines. LP and natural gas are also listed as supported applications, though those are noted as special order. The 42-degree inverted flare connection on the 3/8-inch female end pairs with the 1/4-18 male NPT side to give you a secure 90-degree elbow routing option across all those line types.
