Will this fitting hold up okay for hooking up my fuel line?

This brass adapter is designed for fuel lines, along with hydraulic brakes, power steering, and transmission cooler lines. It can also be used in LP and natural gas applications, though those are considered special orders.

trying to hook a 1/4 inch tube up to a 1/4-18 npt port, is this the right elbow for that?

For that combo, it matches up as a 90 degree elbow with a 1/4-18 male NPT on one end and a 0.25 inch female 42 degree inverted flare on the other, which is meant to mate to 1/4 inch tube flare connections.
