fitting says 1/2 NPTF thread, that gonna work on a standard NPT port or do i need something special for that?

NPTF threads are built to the same dimensional standard as NPT, so they'll engage with standard NPT ports without issue. The difference is that NPTF has tighter tolerances to create a metal-to-metal seal rather than relying entirely on thread sealant. In most shop setups, these go right in where a regular NPT fitting would sit. Just make sure your port is 1/2 inch NPT and you're good to go.

got 1/2 inch tubing on hand, is that what this push-in end takes?

For fit-up, the tube side is made for 0.50 inch outside diameter tubing, and the other end is a 1/2 NPTF male thread.
