Fit wise, it is a straight brass adapter with a 1/2-20 male 42 degree inverted flare on one side and a 5/8-18 male SAE 45 degree flare (often called 6 JIC) on the other. It is also called an Eaton 5 M INV Flare 6 M JIC adapter, and it is listed for 0.38 inch OD tube size.

got a 1/2-20 inverted flare line I'm trying to connect up to a 5/8-18 JIC fitting on a hydraulic system, will this adapter do the job or am I barkin up the wrong tree?
