trying to swap out a little brass coupling i’ve got, is this one 1/8-27 female on both ends?

It is a female to female brass pipe coupling with 1/8-27 threads on each end, and both ends are NPTF.

got a little hydraulic gauge setup with 1/8-27 pipe threads on both sides. is this the coupler that ties two female ends together?

For joining two male 1/8-27 NPTF pipe-threaded pieces, this coupling gives you female NPTF threads on both ends, both sized 0.125. It is commonly used in instrumentation and hydraulic setups where you need a solid threaded connection.
