trying to swap out an old elbow, are both ends on this one 1/2 female npt or is one side different

Both ports are 1/2-14 female NPT, and it’s a 90 degree elbow adapter, so it’s set up for a female-to-female NPT connection on a right angle.

Will this brass elbow work with hydraulic systems, or is it just for refrigeration and grease?

This adapter is designed for use in hydraulic systems, as well as grease and refrigeration applications. It can also be special ordered for fuel and natural gas systems.

Does this adapter hold up in cold environments, or is it gonna have issues once temps drop way down?
