what fluids is this brass elbow rated for out of the box, and do I need to order something special if I'm running LP gas through it?

Standard orders cover grease, refrigeration, instrumentation, and hydraulic system applications. LP and natural gas compatibility is available, but those configurations require a special order rather than being part of the regular stock version. If you're running LP gas, just make sure to specify that when you place the order so you get the right build for that service.
