Will this fitting hold up okay in an air brake system on a semi-truck?

fitting says no tube prep needed, that mean I don't gotta flare the end or nothing before I put it on?

Correct, no flaring required and no special tube preparation before assembly. The fitting has built-in tube support that handles all of that internally. You just cut your nylon tubing clean and square, insert it, and tighten to the specified torque. That built-in support is what keeps the connection solid without any extra steps on the tube end.
