Got a nylon air brake line on a trailer running 3/8 inch tube, will this fitting thread into a standard 1/2 NPT port without any adapters in between?

For a 3/8 inch OD nylon tube on one end and a 1/2-14 male NPT thread on the other, this is a direct fit. No adapter needed. The male NPT threads straight into a matching female 1/2 NPT port, and the tube end is built to grab onto nylon air brake tubing specifically. Eaton Aeroquip made this connector for exactly that kind of nylon tubing application, so you're not working around any mismatches here.
